I was able to pull the actual YouTube video from the Disney Japan site. After reviewing the video (obviously in Japanese) but Google Translating the description is appears they will be having some sort of Stitch marathon around the week of August 7th, centered around this new Stitch! Anime special. Looks like they are showing the movies, L&S series stuff and even the anime stuff! Here is how the YouTube page translated:

Following up on my post back from March, well I finally had an opportunity to watch Home "on demand" and I have to say it was a very cute movie. They were obviously completely different plots. But I still did get a very "Ohana" feel to it. The message of being "lost", wanting to belong, and needing a friend, was something I saw as similar between the two movies. Along with the obvious similarity of a human girl meeting an alien, and an alien that is in trouble with his peers as well! A crossover with these two would be interesting, considering they both are technically on earth now. Not likely being one Disney and one Dreamworks, but there are some very interesting fan fic, fan pic and fan vid opportunities there. :-)

I'm proud to announce that Save Lilo & Stitch is 10 years old today! 10 years ago Growly, a member of Save Disney Shows/Save Kim Possible, but also a fan of Lilo & Stitch, knew that the "65 episode rule" was going to affect more than just Kim Possible, and Lilo & Stitch deserved a campaign as well. So on Dec. 14, 2004 Growly created the Save our Stitch Yahoo! Group, which marked the beginning of our organization. Several months later I would join the team and begin working with Growly on developing our web site. And as they say, the rest is history!
We have outlasted every other Save Disney Shows organization, yes even Save Kim Possible! Even when some of the SKP folks were laughing us off as a dying organization, we stuck through, and here we are today.
And the reason we are here today, is because of you, the most dedicated ohana I've ever know. We have had regular membership growth and activity at all areas of our organization: Save our Stitch, Ohana Shout Out, Facebook, Twitter throughout the 10 years! Sure, it's easy enough for me to keep a web site online for 10 years. But without your continued dedication and participation, it would have been worth nothing. You have never given up on our ohana. You have truly shown aloha spirit!
And I have to give a quick shout out to Margot (Stitchthebest36) as well. She made her way over to the Ohana Shout Out on April 2009, and has been a dedicated team leader ever since. Since I took over leadership of Save Disney Shows, and faced the added responsibilities that came with that, Margot has taken an even bigger role with both Save Lilo & Stitch and Save Disney Shows. I COULD NOT keep all this going if it wasn't for her!
Mahalo to all of you and I look forward to another 10 years!

The Save Disney Shows email program at sdsmail.org is down. Unfortunately we do not have anymore information to provide at this time, or an estimated time it will be back online. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you.

Been awhile since I've posted here. Well, we've officially announced our last two Save Lilo & Stitch Weekend Bash dates for the year. Details as usual available at SaveLS.com.
FYI - December 14th marks the 10th anniversary of Save Lilo & Stitch! On December 14, 2004 the Ohana Shout Out Yahoo! Group was created, marking the beginning of the organization! Not sure if or what celebration event will be planned. But there will likely be announcements on our site and social media pages. I'm also going to encourage everyone to share their memories of the experiences and time shared with us, and Lilo & Stitch, throughout the last 10 years. I'm especially interested to know if anyone has been with us since the beginning?! (Late 2004 and throughout 2005 when the web site and our organization really started to move forward.) You can also expect a special Save Disney Shows video blog (probably early December) where I discuss my memories and experiences as well.
Haven't had an update regarding the fan site for awhile. We are moving along, albeit very slowly. Unfortunately I have been, and will continue to be, very busy in the near future with family, work and other web site and campaign related projects. And now the busy holiday season is approaching. And I don't want to stress myself more then necessary and put too much on my plate. Working together with Stitchthebest36 we have a plan and lots of good ideas, but the issue is the time needed for me to implement those ideas. So unfortunately I'm not expecting a release date anytime the rest of this year. I will probably have another update for you guys sometime in January and maybe I will have a better idea of a release date at that time.

We have officially "broken ground" and started work on the newly redesigned Lilo & Stitch fan site today. Now is a great time to send me suggestion. Since I don't check here regularly, you can contact me through the contact link on our site, or Stitchthebest36 will relay to me any suggestions made here as well. Watch for periodic update notices along the way! Mahalo! :-)

Just a reminder that starting tomorrow morning, at 9:00am. central time the Ohana Shout Out and Stitchipedia will be temporarily offline while we move the Save Disney Shows and Save Lilo and Stitch web site to a new web host. Ohana Shout Out and Stitchipedia will be offline for the majority of the weekend. But the remaining of the Save Lilo and Stitch web site will be online. The Ohana Shout Out and Stitchipedia and the rest of our web site should be back online and moved to our new web host early next week.
You can connect with us through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Save our Stitch. Updates regarding the web site move will be posted there.
Due to this required web host move, we are pushing back any Save Lilo & Stitch Weekend Bashes until sometime in August. Date announcements coming in the next couple of weeks.

Today marks the official start of Save Lilo & Stitch Week 2014. An extended time period of June 21-27 where we email and phone Disney of course. But we also celebrate many Lilo & Stitch beginnings, endings and Lilo & Stitch and our ohana in general. Today we celebrate a beginning. 12 years ago today Lilo & Stitch the Movie premiered in theaters in the US. Watch the movie today to celebrate the anniversary. Were you lucky enough to watch Lilo & Stitch on its opening day? Share your stories and memories with us! Mahalo! :-)

Now that the renovation of the Save Disney Shows email program is winding down, it's time to have another Save Lilo & Stitch Weekend Bash! And the next month is June, so you know what that means? Yep, our annual Save Lilo & Stitch Week! If you are new here, this is an extended Save Lilo & Stitch event, annually from June 21 - June 27 where we celebrate several important events in Lilo & Stitch's history. Details as usual are available at SaveLS.com and SaveOurStitch.org. Mahalo as always for your dedication towards our ohana. :-)

Save Disney Shows and Save Lilo and Stitch is proud to introduce the brand new, redesigned email program at SDSMail.org. The new email program is a part of a larger project we have been working on for awhile now to better integrate SaveDisneyShows.org, the How to Help pages and the email program. We hope you will be pleased with the better navigation between these areas. We also wanted to place a much higher emphasis on social media as a way to contact Disney. We at Save Disney Shows would like to send our greatest appreciation to Margot (a.k.a. Stitchthebest36), team leader at Save Lilo & Stitch, for her assistance, feedback and advice throughout this project. A lot of little things have changed, but the overall general process and previous usage restrictions are still in place. What we are still looking for is anyone who wants to contribute updated templates for shows already represented, or new email templates for shows that are not yet represented. If you believe you have a good Disney contact that you feel should be included on the email program, let us know. If you believe we have missed an official Disney social media site, let us know. If you have any corrections or updates for any of the How to Help pages, let us know. We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this project, and thank you for your participation and support of our campaigns.

Right now my hands are full with the redevelopment of the Save Disney Shows email program. But there are still plans to re-release the L&S fan site sometime this year. It will be independent from the Tumblr page. :-)

The server that our web site is hosted on was down earlier today. So everything was down including Ohana Shout Out, Save Lilo & Stitch, Save Disney Shows and even my new Save '90s Nick campaign lol. But we're back and good now. It was not actually related to the updates. But always good to hear people are checking the sites and notice when it's down lol.

Thanks iis! Good news is I hope to have the old email program back online temporarily sometime next week while we continue the contact list research and design of the new program. This is going to be lengthy part of the process, so hoping, and I believe I can, keep the old program online at the same time so as not to interfere with our Weekend Bashes etc. :-)
And a shoutout and big mahalo to Stitchthebest36 for the guidance and feedback she has provided thus far!
If anyone thinks they can provide assistance with the Email Program contact list and/or updating any of the SDS How to Help pages, please contact me through either the SLS or SDS contact form. Mahalo! :-)

I also hope to some sort of fan site back on our site sometime this year as well! Right now my big focus is the SDS mail program, but that will be a big focus this year as well.
It will be a little different though then what people may be expecting, because unlike DeviantArt, YouTube etc, we are very limited on storage space and resources. But it will be simple, user friendly and secure. :-)

Our renovation of the Save Disney Shows Email Program has officially begun. Unfortunately periods of downtime can be expected during this process. We encourage you to visit our changelog, Facebook page and Twitter feed for updates. If the email program is down, you can always use the master email list and send emails from your own mail client. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate the patience.

We had a bit of an issue and downtime with the Shout Out. We seem to be back online, but let me know if you encounter any issues.
Also, in the process of investigating, discovered an issue with the Report page connected to the Shout Out. So I had to take if offline. For now, just report the Shout through the contact form, or let Stitchthebest36 know, as she can delete it now too as well.

To be quite honest, I don't trust YouTube commenters. I do hope that people unfamiliar with our organization search "Lilo and Stitch" or "American Dragon Jake Long" and run across the videos. I started the video blogs, as I liked the personalization it added to a normal blog, news feed or email newsletter. And it hopefully will spread awareness of our organization throughout YouTube and draw some traffic to our site. But undoubtedly someone who knows nothing about me or our organization will have something negative to say about my video(s).
And also honestly how many likes or dislikes my video gets, how people feel about me, my style of video, the length of the video, is completely irrelevant to me. There are few people's whose opinion matter to me. And Stitchthebest36 yours is one of them. You have been a great friend and probably the most dedicated ohana I've had here ever. :-)
It's all about the message I'm trying to deliver. And not the YouTube drama. Not to misunderstand, I'm welcome to all suggestions for Save Lilo & Stitch, Ohana Shout Out, Save Disney Shows, whatever. And I believe there are plenty of places outside the YouTube comments for people to contact me with those suggestions if they really want to. But those who simply want to spread hatred on YouTube won't make that effort.
Once a month has been my general rule of thumb. But I may very well do twice a month or every other month. Like I said it really depends on my free time and if I have enough relevant news, or some special announcement. I really wanted to release the last video the previous weekend. But I was really busy with my daughter's birthday party, so life gets in the way. It happens.
As far as social media, of course I'm always looking for ways to spread the reach of our organization. But in relation to the SDS mail program, what I'm really looking for is to make sure that all areas of social media and ways to contact Disney via all possible outlets are addressed in the new site. So the research involved if I'm on my own will probably take more time then the site itself. But it's really important that sdsmail.org is relevant to the social media age.
I've never banned anyone for posting an occasional general message. And don't plan to. We do want to keep within topic of Lilo & Stitch. But just try to use discretion and keep the general comments within reason. More then anything, just respect each other and their opinions. And yeah if someone wants to post a general message how their day went lol, I'm not going to ban them. :-)

Yes I have seen your suggestions in regards to the Shout Out and comments regarding the video. They are appreciated and will be taken into consideration. I have many thoughts and ideas in regards to Save Lilo & Stitch, Ohana Shout Out and Save Disney Shows in general.
Unfortunately I am unable to find the time to implement many of these ideas. I work full time and often overtime, sometimes totaling 64 hours a week. And for the few hours I'm not actually at work, I have to do the whole father/husband thing for my 2 daughters and wife. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have it any other way. But sometimes I have to set priorities for projects. SDS Mail will be one of my biggest priorities. And as it relates to SLS, one of my top priorities is creating the new version 2.0 of the fan site. I will certainly look into your and hopefully implement some of your suggestions for the Ohana Shout Out. But other then a few glitches here and there it has worked flawlessly for almost 10 years now. And the simplicity of it has had general positive feedback. Not that a few upgrades here and there aren't possible, but I'm not looking to make a phpBB forum out of this.
My video blogs are always done at work, in a conference room, during my lunch breaks, on the weekend when usually no one else is there. I'm limited in time and resources, so I can't offer any fancy setup like that at this time. And no one else I can talk to there face-to-face at those times, who even know that much about Disney anyways. I would love someday to combine videos with others talking about specific campaigns. Or record some sort of video conference. That would be awesome, but we'll see. Not all videos will be 10 minutes long. I generally try to do one a month and plan to follow that. May be more, may be less. All depends on news and when I have enough free time to prepare and record it.
