I found this out. Adult Lilo on Stitch! is voiced by Gwendoline Yeo.... the one who did Yuna's grandma on the series as well as Mariko on Wolverine and the X-Men, Shinigama on TMNT (2012), Li Mei on The Invincible Iron Man, Blu on Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, Mercy Graves on The Batman, Ms. Deitch on Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur, Dr. Isabel Cho on Deep Space: Aftermath, Lieutenant Tanaka on What's New, Scooby Doo?, Cousin Lisa and Aunt Lily on The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Bree Samuels on Hannah Montana, Hoodie on Kim Possible, Fifi on Phineas and Ferb, Nala Se and Bettie-Bot VJ as well as Peppi Bow adn Cato Parasitti on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Nyancy Chan and Sheelane on Ben 10: Omniverse.
Do you think I object? Uh-uh. Gwendoline Yeo did a great job with voicing Asian ladies who can be strong but gentle. She can help bring out Lilo being a sassy but tender-hearted soul. Yep.

I was watching Cinderella 2 (if any of you haven't seen it) and at the end of the scene of its third short called "An Uncommon Romance", there's this music cue from the L&S Snafu ep where Angel breaks out of the glass and breaks Stitch out, then they embrace! Now I realize that they used that cue first in Cinderella 2 before the Snafu ep. If I give you the links and you listen closely, you might hear it!:

I hate the anime in Japanese as well, few reasons is because Gantu & Reuben are evil again for stupid reasons, Angel turned into a complete diva jerk, Stitch is bit of a wimp, the animation art direction is very inconsistent, & has the same problem that the Recent Pokémon episodes has where it's doesn't care about the writing all that much instead they just want to tell stupid jokes through incredibly goofy over the top cartoonish animation.

Also I only see Stitch & Ai Chinese, it's okay but I wish the other experiments like Reuben & Angel would appear in it someday.

To Jowad: Thanks but I'm not Japanese, just living here. I get why you don't like it and I just saw snippets but I would blame it partially on the English dubbing as it changed some of the meanings (especially in the opening scene)

For me it is weird to see Stitch with some other than Lilo & Nani, because the original story was so touchy, and the duo of the weird, little girl who is often lonely with a first destructive but then loving pet alien/dog was so charming.

In Japan Stitch is still very big with a lot of merch aso but sadly almost never featured with Lilo.

Did you enjoy 'Stitch&Ai'?

did you know that there's a new Chinese animated series based on Stitch that came out a few months ago called Stitch & Ai, there's a trailer for it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLAShf3dEeU

Its really hard to choose between experiments but here’s some favorites
Sample
Spooky
Leroy
Angel
Sparky
627
Melty

Its always possible the experiments will appear in “Stitch and Ai” if the series gets a season 2. I'm praying we get more seasons of Stitch and Ai personally.

To Jowad:

I assume you mean Experiments who aren't Stitch. In which case.

5. Spooky
I love the idea of a shapeshifter whose true form is just a blobby mass, like a mold of clay about to be sculpted. I also just love shapeshifters who use fears; Scarecrow, Freddy Krueger, It. Spooky's interesting, though, in that he doesn't seem to get much joy out of it like the aforementioned villains. He seems to be very serious about it, as if he has a very genuine and overpowering contempt for the people he scares, which, in some ways, is even scarier than someone who gets some fun out of it.

4. Angel
It really is a shame that Angel was hardly in the original TV series, because she had all the makings of a great heroine. She had a unique power set, never needed rescuing (She ended up breaking herself out in "Snafu."), and was able to apply her abilities in both physical and mental aspects. Had she become a series regular, we could have seen her become a more active female hero, where Lilo could be the straight man to both her and Stitch. It really is a shame that the feeble, cranky damsel from the anime seems to be the more widely accepted portrayal of the character, since the original version has much more potential and value to today's attitudes regarding heroines in storytelling.

3. 627
I like when an Experiment can't be turned good. It's good to remind kids that not everybody is a good person that they can get on with. (I say this and then reimagine 627 to be one of the few Experiments who was never evil to begin with.) I like 627 as an enemy of Stitch for the same reason I like villains like Bane and Venom; he's so strong and downright mean that it forces the hero to fight and think twice as hard to find a way to surpass him. That, and I like how 627 resembles a distorted version of Stitch.

2. Bonnie and Clyde
My favorite Experiments are the ones with the most established personality within the series. Bonnie and Clyde have a bit of an unfair advantage, since they can speak fluent English, but even so, they're perhaps two of the more interesting Experiments, character-wise. It's great to see some Experiments whose greatest attribute are their minds, and who are actually closer to humans in terms of behavior, whereas most of the Experiments are animalistic. Again, it's neat to see some Experiments who can't be reformed, or at least are more difficult to do so. I only wish that Bonnie and Clyde were used more as recurring antagonists/anti-heroes, not unlike Catwoman or Elektra, instead of glorified cameos.

1. Elastico
Surprised? There's so many great things about Elastico. First of all, he's perhaps one of the most fleshed out Experiment. He displays a much wider range of emotions than most of the others do in their own episodes; we see him happy during his performance, mischievous while fighting Stitch, scared, and even sad while escaping Gantu. Plus, there's a certain infectious charm to the playful and clever ways he uses his powers not only to have fun but also to solve problems. He also introduces the interesting idea that an Experiment can be reformed without Lilo's help. Or, moreso, that an Experiment might never have been evil to begin with. I know Ace's whole gimmick is that he was never evil, but where that was more of a joke with Ace, Elastico offers a potentially more philosophical variation of it; is it possible to be completely and totally good?

The hand drawn style on the show looks better than Flash because sometimes the flash looks a bit ugly, I wish they kept the hand drawn look for the entire series instead of just a few episodes.

To Jowad: I'm back now. I watched all of the current 13 episodes of "Stitch and Ai" season 1. I assumed "Stitch and Ai" was at least somewhat digitally computer drawn but it honestly looks more fluid than Flash animated shows like "Littlest Pet Shop" and "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". Stitch and Ai's facial expressions and movements look smoother and we see them from more angles whereas with flash you tend to see a character from the side or front a LOT more.

btw everyone: This is not Lilo & Stitch related but I wrote an article on disability and filmmaking here http://disabledspectator.com/disabled-filmmaker-margot-cole/

I would rather they didn't, because those movies are really annoying and so clearly half-hearted cash grabs. Besides, they're all based on properties not a lot of people really care about anymore. Do any of you guys think it would be weird for Stitch to have a crossover movie with WWE Wrestlers, I say this because in recent years, it's starting to be more common that animated franchises team up with the WWE, Scooby-Doo did it twice, The Flintstones did it, Sony's Surf's Up did it and most recently The Jetsons did it, so do you guys it's kinda possible for Stitch to have one WWE crossover movie as well, just saying?

To Elastico's Foot: Sorry for a delay in responding! I will have to reread the chapter to see. I'll do that ASAP and will either comment here or on fanfiction.net I may have told you this before but I really like how you have a nice balance of showing the experiments doing everyday things as well as having a lot of adventure in their life.

To Jowad: Oh, my mistake,It's pretty standard practice for TV series to be made lighter and softer than the material it spawned from. I happen to think kids can handle more emotion and character development than TV execs give them credit for. The writer Lauren Faust thought so too and I am a big fan of her work. I think if she had been involved with Disney at that time Lilo & Stitch The Series may have retained the movie's darker tone. Anyway, good news, Wayne was having trouble making posts to Save Lilo & Stitch's Facebook page so he gave me access to the Facebook page and we were finally able to post the 2 L&S petitions to the Facebook page! After that I posted an update to the petition here https://www.change.org/p/walt-disney-release-lilo-stitch-on-dvd/u/20988265 because it hit 75 views and you told me to update the petition every 25 supporters. To Sam Cook: Yes. Neat scene. I really like her voice for Kiara but it sounds so similar to the voice actress's voice for Yuna that actually audio editing the 2 characters might get tricky from a technical standpoint in an episode LOL. Also, does Kiara assume Stitch is just another animal in your scene?

I saw how the actress who did Yuna voiced Kiara on Lion Guard. Helped show the sass and gentleness.
I got this scene:

Yuna: Easy. I'm gonna get you out from the cage.
Kiara: Stay back. I refuiser to let you torture Stitch.
(she lashes, doing cuts on Yuna's chest
(Yuna grunts,... bravely taking the pain... and covers her cuts..)
Stitch: Stop. She's ohana.

Kiara; I'm soirry.
Yuna: Glad you did so. Glad to see you were unbroken after the torture by poachers. And nice to see you bond with Stitch. SOme view him as a freak.
Kaiara; He;s lovely. He;'s sweet.
Yna: Yep. His soul is more improtant than his flesh. And nice blow. Hmmm. Very good. For a cub, you did such a blow. Yep. Whenever I look on my chest-scars, I'm gonna remember the little cub who was a good girl... so brave and gentle... a feminist-icon.... a real princess as well.

Kiara; You can fight well Yuna.
Yuna: Thanks.
Kiara; Some humans prefer guns. Yet youy prefer your martial arts, your sword, and your spear.
Yuna: Well....

Kiara and Yuna can sparr. Yuna can help Kiara learn to do her pouncing and wrestling. Kiara can help Yuna learn to use her senses.

(when the hyenas 'sing')
Kiara: Oh, great. Now they'e gonna torture me.
Yuna (sarcastic): Whoopee. This is the kind of way I want to die. (normal) Hamstervol showed more dignity.

(seeing Scar as a ghost on the volcano)
Yuna: Scar?
Scar: Yes. Scream.
Kiara; You're uglier than I thought.
Yuna: Yep. Uglier than I thought too.
(they smirk calmly)
Yuna: Mufasa looked grander.
Scar: GRRRRRRRRRRR!
Yuna: Oooo. Did we push a button? Failed to overcome your jealousy of your big bro?

I'm really glad that you liked it. The opening scene, with the naming of 621 as Chopsuey, was one of my favorite ones to write. I wanted to find a more interesting reason for the name Chopsuey than a connection to the dish. The birthday scene, as well, is one of my favorites. It's a culmination of everything Lilo and the Experiments have gone through since Stitch landed on Earth.

Are there any other thoughts you have about this chapter?

To everyone: Lilo & Stitch the movie is airing tomorrow July 30 2017 at 12:00pm EDT on Disney Junior after the new Lion Guard special.

To Elastico's Foot: I really like the development on Chopseuy and Reuben here. Well done! The scene in the beginning about the nightmare with Lilo and 621 was particularly well done. Very touching and relatable. I also love when they all sing to Lilo.

To Jowad: Yes I liked the original Ace and thought it would have been great for Jumba's character development. Actually as far as I know Lilo & Stitch The Series has never been conceived of as being live action, it was however originally going to be titled "Stitch! The Series" and the movie was to be titled "Lilo & Stitch: A New Ohana" and be slightly longer but due to miscommunication during production the titles apparently got switched. I wouldn't mind a darker tone and I wouldn't mind a live action reboot set in Hawaii to keep the franchise going. If you find any articles having to do with "Lilo & Stitch The Series" being originally imagined as a live action series let me know since I did not find any. Cool video! I didn't mean that Big Hero 6 was animated with the same technique, only that Disney seems to be going back to various forms of 2D animation with actual characters and plots which is great.

Actually, The Big Hero 6 Series is not like the Tangled series in terms of animation quality, Bob Schooley confirmed that the Big Hero 6 series will be all traditionally hand drawn animated and not flash-like at all.

Did you know that the Lilo & Stitch series was originally conceived as an action-adventure series with a similarly somber tone as the film, You can even possibly tell from watching Stitch! The Movie, as there are some elements of the original film's melancholic tone in a few scenes, but Disney Channel wanted the show to be Lighter and Softer, do you think the Lilo & Stitch series would be even better if it keep the same tone from the first film and if it was a bit more action-oriented?

Also, do you think the original version of the episode Ace is better the actual one that aired?

To Jowad: Probably one of the writers of L&S the series or Chris Sanders. I don't think the Netflix thing is weird so much as I think it is a missed opportunity for them to not show Lilo & Stitch The Series. Perhaps we can contact both Disney and Netflix and tell them to show Lilo & Stitch the series. The "Big Hero 6 series" trailer looks like another "Tangled the series" and that's not a bad thing since I like that Disney Channel is showing animation again. However I doubt I will watch it much. There's also a new Lion Guard special called "Rise Of Scar" coming July 29.

And here’s a new Stitch and Ai article:

http://www.toonbarn.com/disney/disneys-stitch-returns-new-chinese-series-stitch-ai/

Text from article(mostly stuff we know):
“Disney’s Lilo & Stitch just turned 15 years old on June 21, 2017 and while news on the franchise has gone cold in North America, it’s still going strong in Asia. The Stitch! anime series got a new TV special in 2015 called A Perfect Memory that debuted in English on South East Asian Disney TV channels last year. Now it’s time for China to shine as the house that Mickey Mouse built has partnered up with Anhui Xinhua and Panimation Hwakai to produce Stitch & Ai. The 13-episode series debuted earlier this year on the Chinese public broadcasters CCTV-1 and CCTV-14 and will debut on other Asian television channels in the near future.
So, what is Stitch & Ai? Well, long time fans of the series may be dismayed to find out it’s going to be like the Stitch! anime. Lilo is once again out for a new girl named Ai, as Stitch finds himself in the Chinese Huangshan Mountains. However, unlike Stitch!, this new Chinese series was produced in conjunction with American Disney animators. This helps add a sense of visual continuity to the American Stitch productions that was missing from the anime. Franchise staple characters, like Jumba and Captain Gantu, the Grand Councilwoman, Cobra Bubbles also make appearances alongside a bunch of new experiments.
Since the show was produced in partnership with Americans, an English version already exists. It was directed by Marc Handler, who previously handled localization work on BattleClaw, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Naruto, Battle B-Daman and a bunch of other series. However, Disney apparently has no plans on releasing Stitch & Ai in western markets, so the English version may be limited to the South East Asian market – a move Disney did to most of the Stitch! anime.

To Simba100: Congrats! My film is about my college experiences. Good idea animating as a hobby.

OH Aloha Jowad! Sorry bout that. I think Lilo and I have something in common: we both went to college! I thought I wanted to be an animator one day as a dream job, but I realized that these classes (about it) that I took long ago mean a little pressure, and I don't like pressure. That's why I decided to animate as a hobby and keep my regular job at AMC. And that's great/ok!😇

It's been pretty quiet around here lately, does anyone like a new Lilo & Stitch discussion?

The special's definitely fake; I got alerted to it by someone, and then looked, and it was weird to say the least. Didn't trust it and still don't. Rule of thumb with me-don't trust Wikipedia when it comes to the franchise. There's been several instances where really immature people went and edited it to say false info. Plus...tanukis. Just. Think about that. TANUKIS. And their rather...INTERESTING anatomy.

To Simba100:

Most definitely fake. If not only for the bizarre name, as well as the lack of any plot or airdate information, but also that it's a special for the Japanese anime. The fact that "Stitch & Ai" exists pretty much confirms that "Stitch!" is over, so there's no way that any more specials could be made.

Wikipedia says there's a new Stitch! special called "Stitch! Sharmee Cats" where Angel and a tanuki named Pokopon appear, and it says it releases in 2017. But there's no plot, no real Japanese/English dub title, and no month and date to have it released. I think someone's trying to make it up just so it could make Angel fans, especially me, happy that Angel's returning.
